Are you like me and have a different scarf for each day of the year? If so I’m happy to share this trick with you. I’ve been using this for years and it’s a great way to keep your scarves tidy, organised and free of creases without taking up much space in your wardrobe. Let’s start!
You will need
A coat hanger (make sure it’s resistant, I’m using a wooden one)
Let’s put it together
It’s as easy as putting each hook around the bar of the hanger. Use as many hooks as scarves you want to hang.
Then you just need to put the scarves through each hook, you can tie a loose knot to ensure they won’t slip (I do that with silk scarves) or just let them hang.
And voilà! Here you have all your scarves perfectly organised! I have at least 3 of these scarf hangers in my wardrobe and they are so easy to keep tidy. Hope this helps!
I saw this idea somewhere and thought it could be worth sharing.
Use wire to hold the rolls of wrapping paper on the ceiling of the closet, instead of taking up floor space. You just need to drill four holes on the top walls of our closet to hold the rolls against the ceiling. You can also use strong fishing wire and pins if you don’t want to drill on the walls or your closet is made out of wood.
Another trick to keep them tidy is to use old toilet paper rolls to keep them from unravelling. Just cut empty toilet rolls lengthwise up the middle and wrap them around the wrapping paper roll. You’ll instantly have a simple, low-cost clasp to keep the rolls from unravelling.
Tired to find your beautiful Christmas baubles and decorations smashed into pieces no matter how much bubble wrap you protect them with when storing them? Try keeping them in egg cartons (the plastic ones don’t work so well), no more Christmas drama this year!
Hi there! Are you, like me to do your best trying to fold those damn annoying fitted sheets and losing the battle every time? Well that war is over, try this system to fold them quickly and neatly. I’ve been using it for quite a while now and it has saved me a lot of time and despair. Follow the steps on the image below and get ready to scream “Oh yes!”
Organize your closet shelves.
Keep your bedding sets in one of the pillow cases, this way you won’t have to spend precious time looking in a messy pile of sheets to complete the set any more! You’re welcome.
Rubbing a walnut over the scratches and bumps on your wooden furniture will cover them!
This is a clever and handy tip to save space in your kitchen cleaning cupboard.
Install a curtain bar in the cupboard under the sink. You can hang the cleaning products that come in a spray bottle from it and will have plenty more floor room in there to store other products. No more bottles falling when opening the cupboard! Yay!
